Paddle revenue attribution
Connect Paddle once to see completed transactions and product names in the selected TypeUI Insights website.
Connect Paddle
Open revenue attribution
Open the verified website in TypeUI Insights, go to Settings → Revenue attribution, and choose Paddle.
Create a read-only API key
In Paddle, open Developer tools → Authentication and create a new API key specifically for TypeUI. Select only transaction.read, then copy the new API key.
Connect and sync
Paste the API key into TypeUI and choose Connect Paddle. TypeUI checks the read permission, encrypts the key, and loads your first transactions.
When connected, use Sync now for an immediate refresh, Replace key after rotating the credential, or Disconnect to remove the connection and its synced Paddle transactions from this website.
What TypeUI reads
TypeUI reads completed transactions and the amount, currency, status, purchase date, and product name needed by the revenue dashboard.
Only positive transaction value appears in revenue totals. Customer names, email addresses, billing addresses, and payment details are not added to Insights.
Session attribution
All synced Paddle transactions contribute to revenue and order counts. When a purchase includes a TypeUI session reference, Insights can also match it to the anonymous session and page that led to the order. Transactions still appear when no session match is available.
Troubleshooting
- If Paddle rejects the key, confirm it is the complete new API key and is still active.
- If TypeUI reports missing transaction access, recreate the key with only
transaction.readselected. - If product names are missing, confirm the Paddle transaction contains items linked to named products or prices.
- If a transaction was just created, choose Sync now or allow the scheduled sync to run.
