How long TypeUI keeps your Insights analytics, website settings, audits, and recovery copies.

This page explains the standard retention periods for TypeUI Insights and related TypeUI account data. Your order or a separate written agreement may set a different period.

Insights data kept for 90 days

Detailed user sessions are available on a rolling 90-day basis for each website. This includes the anonymous session record, page-by-page journey, page timing, session-level technology and location details, and custom events connected to that session. Each day, information older than 90 days leaves the live analytics database automatically.

Aggregate analytics kept while subscribed

Lightweight aggregate traffic, engagement, and UI-interaction totals remain available while the applicable Insights subscription is active. This lets you keep long-term trends without retaining an individual visitor journey indefinitely. Heatmap previews remain until you replace them, delete the website, or the website reaches the end of its service lifecycle.

When Insights access ends

Collection pauses and a 30-day recovery period begins. Returning during that period cancels scheduled deletion. Otherwise, TypeUI deletes the website's live analytics, configuration, archives, and private previews after the recovery period.

Backups and recovery copies

Private, product-inaccessible recovery copies use a protected retention period. A recovery copy of expired or deleted information may remain isolated for up to 32 additional days before scheduled cleanup completes. Restores remain subject to the current 90-day detailed-data window.

These analytics copies are separate from Supabase's provider backups of account, authentication, workspace, and configuration records. A restore of one system does not automatically restore the other.

Recovery is best-effort. A backup may be incomplete, unavailable, or end before the latest activity, and ordinary provider recovery systems may retain deleted data until their protected deletion cycles complete. TypeUI is not an archival or disaster-recovery service.

Shared-dashboard and security records

A shared-dashboard token and visibility setting remain until you rotate the link, return the website to private, delete the website, or its service lifecycle ends. Passwords are protected in a non-readable form, access attempts are limited, and shared access sessions expire.

If you enable MFA, TypeUI keeps the security records needed to provide the factor and account recovery until they are used, replaced, disabled, or the account is deleted.

Creative projects and saved audits

Deleting a Creative project removes its design system, markdown files, MCP package, and related Creative data. It does not delete a linked Insights website or saved UI/UX audit. Delete those separately from Insights or Audits when you no longer need them.

Saved UI/UX audits and their screenshots remain until you delete the audit or delete your account. Deleting an audit removes its saved record and associated screenshot from active storage.

Account, billing, and communication records

Account, workspace, profile, preference, and entitlement records remain while needed to operate your account. If you delete the account, TypeUI removes account-owned active records and uploaded files, subject to ordinary provider recovery cycles and limited records we must keep for billing, fraud prevention, dispute handling, consent evidence, security, or legal obligations. Newsletter preferences and unsubscribe records may be retained so we can continue honoring your choice.

Billing action history records checkout, payment, subscription, cancellation, customer-portal, provider synchronization, and scheduled plan-change outcomes with limited identifiers and error summaries. We retain these records only as long as reasonably necessary to reconcile billing, investigate failures, support customers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. They do not contain full card numbers, raw payment credentials, or raw webhook payloads.

Your controls

You can delete an Insights website from its settings or export the currently selected analytics before deletion. TypeUI is not permanent archive storage, so keep independent copies of information you must preserve.
