Analytics
TypeUI Insights is AI-first website analytics for understanding traffic, engagement, visitor journeys, and UI interaction in one privacy-conscious workspace.
Instead of stopping at charts, TypeUI Insights can turn the date range, filters, comparisons, and metrics currently on screen into a structured SUMMARY.md snapshot. Give that file to an AI coding or research tool to investigate a change, explain a trend, or plan the next UI improvement with the same context you were viewing.
What makes it AI-first
Traditional analytics gives you dashboards to interpret. TypeUI Insights keeps that visual workflow, then makes the selected context portable for AI-assisted work.
SUMMARY.mdcaptures the current website, period, comparison, active filters, headline metrics, top pages, audience, acquisition, campaign, custom-event, and interaction data.- Markdown setup guidance lets you give
SETUP.mdto an AI coding tool so it can install the tracker without needing private TypeUI credentials. - Markdown compliance guidance provides a
COMPLIANCE.mdimplementation checklist for consent, notices, retention, and customer responsibilities. - CSV export provides the current analytics selection in a structured format for spreadsheets, data tools, or a deeper analysis workflow.
The Markdown snapshot reflects the selection you made in the dashboard. Pin a country, device, browser, page, referral source, or another filter before copying it, and the file will describe that exact slice of the data.
Read this SUMMARY.md and identify the three strongest opportunities to improve our pricing page. Separate acquisition issues from UI interaction issues, cite the supporting metrics, and suggest experiments we can measure with custom events.
Website analytics in one place
User sessions
Count privacy-conscious visits and understand how many people actively use your website during the selected period.
Pageviews
See how often tracked pages are opened, then compare popular pages, entry pages, and exit pages.
Average time on site
Measure active attention across multi-page visits instead of counting time while a browser tab sits in the background.
Bounce rate
Find the share of sessions that leave before meaningful engagement, such as a second pageview or active attention.
Location
Compare countries, regions, and cities on an interactive map without storing IP addresses in Insights analytics.
Devices
Understand whether visitors use desktop, mobile, or tablet so you can prioritize the right responsive experience.
Browsers
Spot browser-specific audience patterns across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and other browser families.
Operating systems
See the operating-system mix across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, and other platforms.
Session journeys
Follow each anonymous journey page by page, including active time, device, browser, operating system, and interactions.
Scroll depth
Learn how far visitors reach on a page and where attention drops before important content or calls to action.
Heatmaps
Overlay aggregated clicks, rage clicks, and dead clicks on a viewport-aware page preview to find UI friction.
Understand traffic and engagement
The traffic overview combines user sessions, pageviews, average time on site, and bounce rate with a timeline for the selected period. Average time on site uses active foreground time from visits that viewed more than one page, making short bounces less likely to distort the result. You can compare date ranges, switch between numbers and percentages, and stack filters without changing the live-visitor view.
Page rankings show where people spend attention and where they enter or leave. Referral sources and channels help connect that behavior to acquisition.
See who uses the website
Location, device, browser, and operating-system breakdowns explain the audience behind the totals. Select an item to apply it as a global filter, then see that same audience reflected across the main metrics, traffic chart, pages, referrals, campaigns, events, session journeys, and UI interaction data.
Location is presented as countries, regions, and cities with an interactive map. Device, browser, and operating-system breakdowns make it easier to prioritize compatibility and responsive-design work.
Follow anonymous session journeys
Session journeys show how one anonymous visit moved through the website. Each journey can include its sequence of pages, active time, scroll depth, clicks, device, browser, operating system, and approximate country when available.
This makes a high bounce rate or short average time easier to investigate: instead of only seeing the aggregate number, you can inspect the paths that produced it without exposing a public session identifier in the interface.
Improve the UI with scroll depth and heatmaps
Scroll-depth analytics shows the share of samples that reached each part of a page. Use it to see whether an important section appears after attention has already dropped.
Heatmaps place aggregated clicks on a captured page preview. TypeUI normalizes click positions against the visitor viewport so desktop, tablet, and mobile activity can be inspected against the appropriate preview. Rage clicks and dead clicks help surface frustrating or unresponsive UI.
Privacy-conscious by design
The tracker is consent gated and is not requested until your website calls enableTypeUIInsights() after analytics consent. It honors consent withdrawal, Global Privacy Control, and Do Not Track settings.
TypeUI Insights is designed to avoid typed text, form values, page DOM, query strings, full referrer URLs, IP addresses, and full user-agent strings in Insights analytics. Approximate location, browser family, operating-system family, and bot signals are derived at the edge.
Privacy-conscious design does not automatically make a website compliant. Each customer remains responsible for lawful basis, consent, notices, contracts, data-subject rights, and local requirements.
