Design skills
Design skills are the visual direction TypeUI gives to your AI coding agent. They define how generated UI should feel, how dense it should be, what component behavior to prefer, and which visual habits to avoid.
What a design skill controls
A TypeUI design skill can guide typography, type scale, colors, surface treatment, spacing, layout density, component patterns, accessibility expectations, product writing tone, and the do and don't rules your agent should follow when generating UI.

Browse the Design Skills page to compare available styles.
Install it through MCP
After the theme is active, try a UI request:
Create a changelog page for my product.
Use another homepage-style prompt when you want a different screen:
Build me a team members page.
Build with it
Reference TypeUI MCP in UI requests:
Show me three navbar options.
The theme handles the visual direction while the UI prompt handles the screen or section structure.
Switch styles when needed
If a design direction does not fit, pick another theme and ask the agent for the next screen:
I need an analytics dashboard.
Then ask the agent to update the affected UI with the new direction.
