Line length — UI Foundations

Good tools help people focus on the work in front of them. A reading column gives each line a clear beginning and an easy return to the next. It can stay comfortably narrow even when the rest of the page has room for a wide photograph or a detailed table. The page does not need to fill every available space to feel complete.
